1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences between pages and visits.
2. The cookies we use
We currently use only strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) these do not require consent because they are essential for the site to function.
- Authentication — keeps you signed in to your trade account and protects against session hijacking.
- Cart — remembers the items in your basket between page loads.
- Security — CSRF protection and fraud prevention.
- Preferences — UI preferences such as the recently viewed list.
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we add any in future we will update this page and ask for your consent first via a banner.
3. Third-party services
When you pay by card, Stripe may set its own cookies on the checkout form for fraud prevention. You can review Stripe's cookie use at stripe.com/cookie-settings.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will mean the site no longer works correctly — for example you will not be able to sign in or check out.
